Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): A youth was allegedly forced to take off his pants by the members of a Hindu outfit after he was caught with a girl in Jabalpur on Valentine's Day.

The members of Hindu Dharma Sena were out moral policing the young couples celebrating Valentine's Day on Friday. They caught a youth with a Hindu girl near a garden and made him do sit-ups. Suspecting it to be a case of love jihad, they forced the youth to remove his pants to check his religion.

Notably, in Islam, males undergo 'Khatna' or circumcision a few months after their birth. As part of the procedure, the foreskin of their genitals is circumcised due to hygiene reasons.

Similarly, the Hindu outfit caught another young couple walking hand-in-hand. They started reprimanding them, recording their video. When the girl objected to the video, the members of Hindu Dharma Sena, led by state president Yogesh Agarwal, started scolding her. The self-proclaimed vigilantes even threatened to beat the youth with shoes.

Claiming to be protectors of 'Sanatan Dharma,' the members of Hindu organisations—Bajrang Dal, Hindu Vishwa Parishad, and Hindu Dharma Sena—staged demonstrations on Valentine's Day. They even locked the main gates of the gardens and parks in Jabalpur to prohibit the entry of the couples.

At many places, altercations took place between Hindu organizations and youths.
