Burhanpur (Madhya Pradesh): Bageshwar Dham Dhirendra Shastri has reacted strongly to the murder of a Hindu girl in Burhanpur, Madhya Pradesh on Monday.
The girl was allegedly killed by a Muslim man after she refused to convert to Islam.
He said that some people trap Hindu girls in the name of love and kill them when they refuse to convert, urging Hindus to wake up and stay united.

The case has shocked many people across the state.
Speaking about the incident, Bageshwar Maharaj said that some people with a narrow and dangerous mindset are trapping Hindu girls in the name of love. “When their plans don’t work, they kill the girls. This is happening again and again,” he said.
He added, “There are many types of ‘jihad’ happening, love jihad, land jihad, spit jihad. Hindu daughters are not able to see the truth. That’s why we keep saying: Hindus, wake up now. If not now, then when?”
