Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The country is making efforts to maintain communal harmony. But the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and the Bajrang Dal have put up controversial posters in different areas in the city.
In these posters, it has been written: “Adaat daliye naam puchhne ki. Apne bachhon ki bhavishya ke liye. Aab to naam puchh na hi padhega (Make it a habit to ask the name to secure the future of children. Now, you have to do it)”.
These posters are seen as a reaction to the terrorists’ attack on tourists in Pahalgam where they asked the name of the tourists before killing them.
The incident is also seen as reaction to the rape some girl students in a college in the city.
According to the Congress, such posters only spread communal disharmony and hatred in the society and are not good to anyone.
Such people are doing any good neither to their children nor to the society, the party said.
Such campaign was launched on social media after the Pahalgam incident.
But the people did not pay any heed to it. Now, these people are trying to whip up communal passion by putting up vicious posters, the party said.
