Tragic! Two-And-A-Half-Year-Old Boy Dies After Falling Into Boiling Oil In MP's Umaria | DB
Shahdol (Madhya Pradesh): An unfortunate incident came to light in Madhya Pradesh's Umaria where a two-and-a-half-year old child died after accidentally falling into a tank filled with boiling oil.
On Friday morning, the deceased child identified as Hitesh Sahu was playing near the kitchen in his house. Meanwhile, his mother identified as Bimla Sahu was engaged in preparing namkeen.

After frying the namkeen, Bimla reportedly transferred the hot oil into a tank in the kitchen itself. Unaware of the danger, Hitesh slipped and fell into the tank of boiling oil.
Upon hearing the child's scream, the family members immediately reached the spot and rushed him to a nearby private hospital in a critical condition.
However, due to the seriousness of the child's condition, the doctors of the private hospital referred him to Katni District Hospital, where he succumbed to his burns during his treatment.

Hospital outpost in-charge Randaman Singh has confirmed the incident. According to singh, the child's postmortem has been conducted and a case has been registered. Further investigation of the case will be done by the concerned police station.
