Upon investigation, the municipal team found that the main rising pipeline from the Bhongadwar Filter Plant was blocked.
To fix the issue, they cut open a section of the pipe, and to everyone’s surprise, a swollen and decomposed monkey's body came out.
Local leader Pawan Kanojia said that residents had been complaining about the water quality and low pressure for a week. After checking the pipeline, it was confirmed that the dead monkey was the reason behind the blockage.
This shocking incident has raised concerns about the negligence of municipal authorities in maintaining the water supply system. Residents are blaming both the municipal corporation and local representatives for putting public health at risk.
However, municipal officials have denied the claim and stated that the blockage was due to accumulated dirt, not a dead animal.
