Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A tragic incident shook Madhya Pradesh’s Ganjbasoda on Tuesday morning when a woman and her 3-year-old daughter were found dead in a rented house in ward no. 8, said the police.
Police investigation revealed that the woman’s live-in partner had strangled both to death. The accused has been arrested and is currently being interrogated.
According to information, the crime took place near the Mansaspurn Hanuman Temple. The deceased, 31-year-old Ramsakhi Kushwaha, had been living with her partner, Anuj Vishwakarma (40), in a rented house for the past 4 years.

According to police station in-charge Sanjay Bediya, a heated argument broke out between the couple around 2:30 am on Monday night. In a fit of rage, Anuj strangled Ramsakhi to death. Shockingly, he also killed her 3-year-old daughter.
When neighbors noticed unusual silence in the morning, they went to check and found the mother and child lying dead in the room. They immediately informed the police. The police, along with the forensic team, examined the crime scene thoroughly and sent the bodies for postmortem.
The police have taken Anuj Vishwakarma into custody. During initial questioning, he confessed to the crime. The forensic team is still investigating the murder weapon and other details related to the crime.
