Shocker! Lover Stabs Woman Seven Times For Refusing Marriage Proposal At Bargi Dam

Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): 'Red' flew all over Jabalpur's famous Bargi Dam... it wasn't the red roses of love, but the blood of hatred! A youth brutally stabbed his lover after she refused his marriage proposal here on Sunday. Angry, he stabbed her seven times till she fell lifeless.
A woman identified as 24-year-old Kavita Gupta, a resident of Baldevbagh in Jabalpur was stabbed multiple times by her lover Naman Vishwakarma.
According to police report, Kavita was allegedly in a relationship with Naman for last few years. She is married and has a two-year-old daughter with whom she had gone to the dam to meet Naman.
Sources revealed that, Naman was her neighbour from last three years and he was allegedly blackmailing her and pressuring her to marry him.
The victim went to meet the youth to refuse his marriage proposal and cut off ties with him. Upon refusal, Naman allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed her repeatedly for seven times leaving her in a pool of blood. The accused fled the scene after stabbing her. At the time of the attack, Kavita’s two-year-old daughter was also present and witnessed the horrific scene.

Passersby saw the injured woman in a critical condition, informed the police and ambulance about the incident, after which the injured woman was referred to the medical hospital. Her condition remains critical there.
Bargi Nagar Police Station in-charge Sarita Patel confirmed that the man-hunt for the accused is underway and he will be nabbed soon. The incident's seriousness prompted swift police investigation.
