School Chale Hum 2025 Campaign: Cm Rise Schools In Mp To Be Renamed As Sandipani Vidyalayas, Cm Interacts With Students | FPJ

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has announced that all existing and under-construction CM Rise Schools in Madhya Pradesh will now be known as Sandipani Vidyalayas.

The Chief Minister was speaking at ‘Praveshotsav- the inaugural-day of four-day drive ‘School Chale Hum 2025’ at the Government New Higher Secondary School (Old Campion) in the city on Tuesday. On the occasion, the Chief Minister also launched Education Portal 3.0.

He also said that Lord Shri Krishna initiated the first ‘School Chale Hum’ Campaign. “The Lord Shri Krishna understood the value of education after overthrowing Kansa’s tyrannical rule, thus initiating what he termed as the first ‘School Chale Hum’ campaign,” he said, adding that “the sages decided to send Lord Shri Krishna to the Sandipani Ashram in Gokul for education, where his legendary friendship with Sudama set an example of lifelong loyalty and affection.

CM acknowledged meritorious students

Besides, the chief minister formally welcomed young girls enrolling in KG-2 by adorning them with garlands and gifts. He also honoured meritorious students. Yadav interacted with students and visited an exhibition showcasing their artwork, appreciating their creativity.

He reflected on his own journey, having studied in government schools, and highlighted the achievements of personalities like Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, former President Dr Rajendra Prasad, and former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri, who overcame hardships to reach great heights.

CM's message to students

CM urges students to study well and use the time efficiently. Yadav referred the story of Krishna and Sudama and asked the students to learn and grow from peers. He also urged the students to utilise the facilities provided by the government to potray skills and talent and make the state and nation proud.

8 lakh kids join government schools on day 1 of School Chale Hum Abhiyan

Minister for School Education Rao Uday Pratap Singh has said that the eight lakh children took admission in government schools of Madhya Pradesh on April 1 - the first day of a four-day School Chale Hum Abhiyan.

He told media persons on Tuesday that it has been possible only through the Education Portal 3.0, launched by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav at Pravesh Utsav.

He also claimed that government schools are better than private ones and this has been proved by the results of Class 5 and Class 8 examinations announced recently. He said that they have also started free nursery classes in government schools. More than 5000 children have taken admission in Balvatika classes.
