Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Police will soon take remand of Riya Yadav and other accused involved in rape with the minor victim at a pool party for further interrogation into the case. Police suspect involvement of a bigger racket as all the accused were well acquainted with each other and used to meet at parties frequently.
Police officials said that many aspects in the case were still to be investigated and custodial remand of some of the accused will soon be taken from the court for further probe.
Moreover, police are yet to trace and arrest Mahi who may provide further details about the racket and other persons involved in it. Officials said that efforts were underway to trace Mahi’s location. However, she is eluding cops as her address is not available.
Questioning from other accused revealed that she used to contact Riya and others only through phone and never disclosed her address to them, officials added.

Police investigations also revealed that the alleged event manager Riya Yadav and other accused arrested by the police often used to organise parties at different locations.
A resident of Karond area, Riya was living with her mother and stepfather. A class 11 dropout, Riya started attending dance parties on invitations and soon started organising them with help of her friend Mahi.
Riya’s boyfriend Naved is a class 8 dropout and works at a garment showroom. The case was initially registered at TT Nagar police station and the probe was handed over to Bajaria police station in-charge Shilpa Kaurav.
