Police Band Is Symbol Of Culture, Tradition & Inspiration, Says Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav
He said whether it was the tune of Kadam Kadam Badhaye Ja during freedom struggle or Shankhnaad of Vedic period, music always gave direction to our culture and struggles.

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): E Mere Watan Ke Logon, Mera Rang De Basanti Chola and other patriotic songs of popular numbers were played by MP police band under Jan Kalyan Parv here on Monday.
Chief minister Mohan Yadav said police band was a symbol of nationalism, discipline and glorious history.
“Our police are not limited to law and order. In difficult times like Covid-19, the police showed amazing discipline and dedication. It is our responsibility to encourage their efforts,” Yadav said.
He said whether it was the tune of Kadam Kadam Badhaye Ja during freedom struggle or Shankhnaad of Vedic period, music always gave direction to our culture and struggles. The police band gave 30-minute performance and played nine songs.
Police commissioner Harinarayanchari Mishra said police department had taken new steps. As an initiative, the band was reorganised and to give it a new direction, MP Police sent band training to the best training centres in the country like Bengaluru. The result was that our trainees secured first, second and third positions there.
