Chhatarpur (Madhya Pradesh): A girl from Chhatarpur, Kranti Gaur, has become a member of the national women’s cricket team.
Twenty-one-year-old Kranti performed outstandingly for UP Warriors in the Women’s Premier League. BCCI has selected her for the Sri Lanka tour. She got information about her selection on Monday night. She then left for Sri Lanka via Mumbai.
Her friends and coach congratulated Kranti for her selection. She began to play cricket at the age of 14. President of the Chhatarpur Cricket Association Vinay Chourasia noticed her talent.
Kranti has been very agile on the field since the beginning of her career as a cricketer, said Rajiv Bilthare, her coach. Bilthare told her father to leave Kranti to him for coaching. Bilthare taught her everything about cricket.

She began to play with a leather ball for the first time in 2017. She led the U-16 girls’ team of the Sagar division in 2018-19. The Sagar team reached the finals of the tournament under her captaincy.
UP Warriors hired her for the Women’s Premier League for Rs 10 lakh. She took five wickets in five matches. Kranti took 15 wickets in nine matches in the senior women’s one-day trophy.
She will represent the Indian women’s team in the three-nation one-day tournament in Sri Lanka. The other nation participating in the tournament is South Africa.
