According to officials, a total of 15,967 students from the district are eligible to take this second exam. These include students who failed in one or more subjects, were absent, or could not reach the exam center on time during the main exam.
As per the new education policy, the system of "supplementary exams" has been removed. Now, students will simply reappear in the subjects they failed, and their marksheets will not mention the word “supplementary.” If a student has failed in all subjects, they will be allowed to take exams for all subjects again.
