Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): A wedding ceremony turned into a high voltage drama in Gwalior, when a woman barged in and claimed that the groom was her husband, and the two are not divorced yet.
The incident took place at a Dharamshala on Nai Sadak on Sunday, where the bride and groom were about to exchange vows.
The woman, identified as Neha Parihar, arrived at Janak Ganj police station around midnight on Sunday, alleging that her husband, Upendra Singh Parihar, was remarrying illegally.
She requested police intervention to stop the wedding. However, before the police could take any action, she allegedly rushed to the wedding venue herself and created a huge scene.

While showing the divorce documents to the police, the groom said that a dispute started between him and his ex-wife on 25 November 2012. Eventually, after 13 years of marriage, they got divorced on 16 October 2024.
The police examined the papers and confirmed that the couple had legally separated.
