Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Setting up industries was akin to constructing temples, as these 'temples' blessed mil-lions with livelihood and prosperity, said chief minister Mohan Yadav on Sunday. 

"Growth Conclave-2025" held at the Brilliant Convention Centre, he highlighted how industries fostered employment and economic growth, especially in today's fast-changing technological era. 

Yadav praised Indore as the IT capital of Madhya Pradesh and a shining example of industrial growth. He mentioned that out of 99 IT-related MoUs signed at the Global Investors Summit (GIS) in Bhopal, 25% witnessed their land foundation laid during the conclave, symbolizing the state's commitment to turning promises into action, "India is witnessing rapid progress in many sectors and Madhya Pradesh is no exception." 

Infra and projects launched 

Multiple industrial projects were inaugurated or had their foundation stones laid during the event, including: 

CtrlS Data Center in Bhopal's IT park (Rs 500 crore investment, 200+jobs) 

Panchsheel Infra Developers' IT building in Indore's Super Corridor (Rs1000 crore, 15,000+jobs) 

Drishti IIT Incubation Centre for startups in Indore (Rs7 crore investment) 

BEL Centre of Excellence and Software Development Centre in Indore focused on Al 

Jabalpur IT Park Block B (Rs 25 crore investment) 

Cast NX in Dewas specializing in AlloT solutions (Rs 20 crore investment) 

Additionally, new projects in heavy engineering, warehousing, furniture, food processing, medical devices and auto components with investments totalling Rs 452.95 crore promise over 2,000 new jobs. 

We are no longer in a state of mere promises, we are moving ahead on the path of concrete development." the CM said. The conclave received investment proposals worth approximately Rs 20.000 crore, expected to generate around 75,000 jobs. Significant announcements Included a Rs 1,500 crore investment in Berasia, Bhopal, for a mobile and semiconductor device park with world-class infrastructure, backed by the upcoming space technology policy focusing on cybersecurity. 

Indore will see the establishment of an Agritech Centre of Excellence and an expansion of its IT parks, in-cluding an IT Park in Pardeshipura, strengthening its position as the new Il capital. Yadav also announced the launch of a unified Incentives. Portal to facilitate investors, alongside the release of guidelines for four new industrial policies related to GCC, semiconductors, AVGC-XR and drone technology. 

The CM announced the formation of the Madhya Pradesh Technology Advisory Committee, comprising national and international experts, to guide policy and innovation efforts aimed at making the state a global technology hub.

The state will establish a Cyber Security Centre of Excellence, expand electronic manufacturing clusters and create integrated platforms. for digital innovation and skill development. New initiatives include plug-and-play facilities at DAV Indore and four new IT facilitation centres across major cities.

"Karnataka is one of the leading state in the country, however I felt that one new wave in Madhya Pradesh which I am feeling here. The new wave is for industrial growth. As per the reports largest employer in India will be startup and we need to support them and grow them," Sanjeev Gupta, CEO Karnataka Digital Economy Mission 

GCC Industrial Initiative, Member Advisory Board Vishwanathan KS

"In the next 5 years there will be 3000 GCC which will be mid market companies with good ecosystem and good tallent. MP was first state to implement land record system and many such works have been done by the state. The next 45 years of our Viksit Bharat will have digital ecosystem. Event Highlight: 500 Divyang to be provided employment

As part of a social initiative, CM Yadav distributed battery-powered tricycles, wheelchairs, hearing devices and other supporting equipment to over 100 differently-abled individuals at Vijay Nagar, supported by IDBI Bank and the Red Cross Society.

Among the distributed items,749 types of assistive devices were given to 300 differently-abled individuals, including tricycles. The total value of the distributed devices was ₹70 lakh.

Additionally, over 500 differently-abled individuals have received job opportunities through the Differently-Abled Employment Portal.

To ensure greater participation of persons with disabilities in the private sector, the Indore district administration has provided employment opportunities to over 500 differently-abled individuals through the Divyang Employment Portal. As part of the program, appointment letters are also being distributed to five selected candidates.
