MP: Teacher Assaults Student With Shoes, DEO Orders Inquiry

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): In a shocking incident, a class eleven student was allegedly assaulted by his teacher with shoes at Saint Michael’s School on Thursday. The student reported that he was brutally beaten with shoes by a teacher referred to as "Abaan sir" after being found in a scuffle with a classmate.
The student claimed that the repeated blows caused severe injuries to his legs, resulting in bleeding and pain. According to the student's uncle, the assault was so violent that it caused the skin on his nephew's legs to peel off.
He expressed deep concern for his nephew's well-being, stating that the physical abuse has left the student not only injured but also suffering from mental trauma. He described the teacher's actions as akin to kicking a football.
In light of this alarming report, district education officer NK Ahirwar has taken immediate action by forming an inquiry committee to investigate the incident thoroughly.
Ahirwar said that he was made aware of the situation and assured that appropriate measures would be taken based on the committee's findings. However, the principal of Saint Michael’s School denied any knowledge of the incident when questioned.
