Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): A shocking incident came to light in Madhya Pradesh's Gwalior, where a young man was shot in his stomach in a dispute over dog's barking late on Sunday night.
The man sustained critically injuries and was rushed to hospital. He is undergoing treatment at present.
According to information, the incident took place late at night around 1 am near Mandre Ki Mata Mandir in a slum under the Kampu police station jurisdiction.
The injured, identified as Sachin Yadav, went for a stroll with his brother Sanjay Yadav after dinner when 3 attackers identified as Rinku Rajput, Kapil Rajput, and Ramvaran Jatav initiated a brawl with them.
According to reports, the accused were enraged by the family dog’s barking whenever they came to the forest department land near Yadav's residence.

Altercation escalated when the attackers started abusing Yadav and the verbal spat quickly turned into a violent clash. Suddenly, the attackers opened fire and the bullet struck Sachin in the stomach.
As Sachin fell on the ground after being shot and the accused fled the scene. The injured's family immediately rushed him to Jayarogya Hospital (JAH), where he was admitted in critical condition.
The victim's family alleged that the accused have been attempting to occupy forest department's land through illegal construction. Just a day earlier, one of the attacker threatened to shoot the dog after the dog had barked at them and alerting the neighbourhood. There was a scuffle over this and the family complained about the matter in Kampu police station.
The police have registered a case on rural Nalsi. The injured's family alleges that there is forest department land near their house. TI Kampu MM Malviya confirmed that a case of attempted murder has been registered.
One accused has been taken into custody, while police teams have been launched a manhunt for the remaining two accused.
