MP: Out To Collect Fodder For Cattle, 18-Year-Old Girl Raped In Gwalior
The accused beat her with a stick and threatened her life before committing the crime.

Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): An 18-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a youth while she was collecting fodder for her cattle in Gwalior oon Wednesday.
The incident is of Gwalior's Ghengholi village, under the Ghatigaon police station area.
The accused, identified as Ravi Gurjar, attacked her brutally when she tried to resist and threatened to kill her.

According to the police, the incident happened when the girl went to the fields to collect fodder.
Ravi, a resident of the same village, approached her and began harassing her. When she resisted, he dragged her to a nearby area and assaulted her.
The accused beat her with a stick and threatened her life before committing the crime.

The girl managed to escape and informed her family about the incident. Her family immediately took her to the police station to file a complaint.
Sub-Divisional Officer of Police (SDOP) Shekhar Dubey said that the police registered a case based on the girl's complaint and admitted her to a hospital for treatment.
The accused was initially found to be absconding when the police raided his house.
However, after searching nearby areas, the police arrested him from a neighboring village.
Further investigation into the case is underway.
