According to meteorologist Pramendra Kumar, the jet stream currently flows at an altitude of 12.6 km. If it descends, the chills will intensify in the state. Additionally, a cyclonic circulation in the eastern region and a deep depression over the southwest Bay of Bengal are contributing to the decrease in temperature of the state.
