MP May 24 Weather Updates: Strong Storm & Rain Alerts Issued For 47 Districts Including Bhopal, Indore; Gwalior Breach 40 Degree Mark | FPJ
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of thunderstorm and rain for the next 7 days, i.e., in the last week of May. On Saturday, there is an alert of strong thunderstorm and rain in a total of 47 districts including Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Ujjain.
The Weatherman said, there is activity of cyclonic circulation and trough in the state. Due to this, an alert of thunderstorm and rain has been issued in the state for the next seven days.
According to the Meteorological Department, on Saturday, there will be strong thunderstorms in Ujjain, Ratlam, Shajapur, Dewas, Barwani, Khargone, Khandwa, Burhanpur, Harda, Narmadapuram, Betul, Chhindwara, Pandhurna, Seoni, Mandla, Balaghat, Anuppur, Shahdol, Sidhi, Singrauli. Whose speed can be up to 60 kilometers per hour.
Thunderstorm alert in Bhopal & Indore
There is an alert of light rain and thunderstorms in Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Bhind, Datia, Shivpuri, Guna, Ashoknagar, Rajgarh, Vidisha, Sehore, Raisen, Sagar, Narsinghpur, Damoh, Katni, Umaria, Dindori, Maihar, Panna, Satna, Rewa, Mauganj, Dhar, Jhabua and Alirajpur.
The state witnessed storm and rain for the 23rd consecutive day in the month of May. Hail fell in Ratlam district on Friday. Umaria and Guna also witnessed storm and rain. Chhindwara, Singrauli, Dindori, Mandla, Jabalpur, Umaria, Shahdol, Katni, Anuppur, Sidhi, Sagar, Panna, Satna, Rewa and Raisen also witnessed storm and rain.
Gwalior Breach 40 degree mark
Here, the day temperature dropped due to rain and thunderstorm. Khajuraho, Naugaon, Tikamgarh, Guna and Shivpuri were the only cities where the mercury was 41 degrees or more. Except Gwalior, the temperature in other cities remained below 40°C.
Gwalior recorded 40.2°C, Bhopal 36°C, Indore 34.4°C, Ujjain 39.7°C and Jabalpur recorded 38.2°C. Pachmarhi was the coldest in the state. The temperature was 31.6 °C. It was 32.2°C in Sidhi, 34°C in Malajkhand and 34.2°C in Betul-Seoni.
