Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The Madhya Pradesh Human Rights Commission (MPHRC) on Friday sought a report from the Commissioner of Police within two weeks.
This follows a directive from the High Court's principal bench in Jabalpur, asking the Commission to take cognizance of the alleged humiliation of Bhopal’s gangster Zubair Maulana by police.
The order was passed after Zubair’s wife, Shameem Bano, filed a petition alleging violation of his religious rights and human dignity.
