79th Independence Day Anniversary Celebrated at Waqf Board Headquarters

The 79th anniversary of the country’s Independence Day was celebrated at the Waqf Board Headquarters, where Board President Sanwar Patel hoisted the national flag.

In his address, Patel referred to the messages delivered by the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister to the people of the country and the state.

He said that Madrasa Hamidia — where the Tricolour was hoisted — is the oldest historical madrasa in Bhopal. He further stressed the need to constantly educate the younger generation about how the country gained independence, adding that it is the duty of every citizen to share India’s vast history with them.

The programme was attended by Shahar Qazi Mushtaq Ali Nadvi, BJP Minority Cell State President M. Ejaz Khan, Board CEO Farzana Ghazal, and several other members.
