MP Congress' Backward Class Leader Jyoti Singh Accuses Sunil Sharma Of Harassment, Defaming Her; Threatens Suicide If No Action Taken In A Week

Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): A woman leader from the Backward Class Congress Committee in Gwalior has accused Congress state general secretary of defaming her on social media on Tuesday.
The woman leader named Jyoti Singh, has accused Congress state general secretary Sunil Sharma of defaming her on social media and pressuring her for unethical demands.
She threatened to commit suicide if no action is taken within a week.
She alleged that Sharma, through his associates, has been harassing her online and trying to damage her reputation.
According to Jyoti Singh, this is not the first time she has faced such an issue. Earlier, her name was linked with Pradhuman Singh Tomar, the current Energy Minister and MLA from Gwalior, in an attempt to defame her.
She had already reported the matter to the District Congress Committee (DCC) and Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC), but no action was taken.
Left with no choice, she reached the Superintendent of Police (SP) office to file a complaint. She also threatened to commit suicide if no action is taken by next Tuesday.

Sunil Sharma Denies Allegations
Meanwhile, Congress leader Sunil Sharma has denied all accusations. He claimed that Jyoti Singh had asked for a ticket from Ward 9 to contest in elections, but when she was not given one, she started making false allegations against him.
Sharma stated that such political tactics should not be encouraged. He has also informed senior party leaders about the issue and has asked for a fair investigation based on facts.
