Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Chief Minister Mohan Yadav is going to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday to invite him to lay the foundation of the Ken-Betwa project. Because a tender for the project was not floated, Modi could not lay its foundation before the Lok Sabha election. Now that all the formalities for the project have been completed, Yadav wants Modi to lay its foundation any day in the next fortnight.
Yadav will also invite Modi to the Global Investors’ Summit (GIS) to be held in Bhopal in February. The state government also wants to invite Modi to the event. Because of the Prime Minister’s busy schedule, the state government did not finalise any date for it. During his meeting, Yadav will also discuss the modalities for GIS with the Prime Minister.
