MP BJP Leaders Pass Over Digvijaya's Invitation To Attend 'Jungle Satyagraha' Premiere In Bhopal; Jitu Patwari & Other Congress Leaders Show Up

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Former Chief Minister Digvijaya Singh organised the premiere of the film Jungle Satyagraha in Bhopal on Monday.

The movie highlights the struggles of tribal heroes during the 1930s for water, forest, and land rights against British rule.

The event was held at the Vidhan Sabha auditorium, and invitations were extended to Congress and BJP leaders, including CM Dr. Mohan Yadav, BJP State President VD Sharma, and former CM Uma Bharti. However, no BJP leaders attended the premiere.

Former Minister Sukhdev Panse, who acted in the film, said the movie showcases the sacrifices of tribal leaders during the freedom struggle. Despite difficult conditions, these heroes fought bravely against British forces.

The film aims to inspire future generations with their contributions to the movement for water, forest, and land rights.

The premiere was attended by prominent Congress leaders, including PCC Chief Jitu Patwari, Leader of Opposition Govind Singh, and other key members.

The film features the revolutionary struggles of tribal leaders like Sardar Ganjan Singh Korku, Sardar Vishnu Singh Gond, Thakur Mohkam Singh, and others. It also highlights the roles of non-tribal freedom fighters such as Deepchand Gothi and Bihari Lal Patel.

Former Minister Sukhdev Panse and ex-MLA Dharmu Singh Sirsaam also acted in the film, adding authenticity to its portrayal of tribal history.

Digvijaya Singh praised Dr. Pradeep Uike, a well-educated tribal filmmaker from Betul, for his efforts in creating a film that honors the sacrifices of tribal heroes and sheds light on their fight against British rule.
