Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): Three people, including a minor, were arrested for snatching wallets in two different incidents in the city. Two youths were identified as Nitin Marawi, resident of Sainagar, Rampur, Gorakhpur and Rohit Kumar, resident if Kali Mandir in Sainagar.
Another person involved in the incident was a minor. According to reports, a resident of Adarsh Nagar, Vijay Batheja, lodged a complaint that he had gone to a jewellery shop in Katanga on December 14 along with his wife and daughter.

From the jewellery shop, they were walking to a hotel. A biker came from the Bandariya intersection and went a few yards away from them. Immediately he returned, and snatched the wallet from his wife. The wallet contained Rs 2,500 and a mobile phone.
Bajetha tried to catch hold of the biker. In another incident, a 48-year-old woman Chhaya Samundra, who runs a boutique, lodged a complaint on December 11 that when she was returning home on the night of December 12 after closing her shop, two masked bikers came from behind, snatched the wallet from her and sped away.
The wallet contained Rs 3,000. Superintendent of police Sampat Upadhyay set up a team to catch hold of the culprits. The arrested culprits confessed to having committed the crime.
