Madhya Pradesh: Two Arrested With Marijuana Worth ₹3 Lakh In Bhopal | Pixabay
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Continuing with its crackdown on narcotics, the police crime branch on Friday arrested two persons near Sabzi Mandi, Govindpura, and seized 10 kilograms of marijuana worth Rs 3 lakh.
The accused Sheetal Kuchbandiya (34) and Kundan Kuchbandiya (22) are residents of Arjun Nagar in Obedullaganj. One of them has a prior case registered under the NDPS Act.

Additional DCP Shailendra Singh Chauhan said a team reached the spot and caught the duo while they were allegedly waiting to sell the contraband.
Confessed of illegal trade
A white sack containing the contraband was recovered from their possession. A case under NDPS Act has been registered and further investigation is underway to trace the rest of the trafficking network. The duo confessed to have been involved in the illegal trade for past some years.
In 2025, crime branch had seized over 235-kg ganja, 45.68-gram MD drugs, 42.55-gram smack, and 1.96-gram LSD in multiple operations.
