Chhatarpur (Madhya Pradesh): The investigation into the suicide of Police Inspector Arvind Kujur has intensified as the police seek 25-year-old Aashi Raja, his close friend, for questioning. Aashi Raja, originally from Bijawar, had a close relationship with Kujur, and sources claim they were in constant contact before his tragic death on March 6.
A police team visited Raja’s residence in Chhatarpur, but she had fled by the time they arrived. Her mother was questioned, and the police have now started tracking Raja through her Call Detail Records (CDR). Kujur and Raja’s relationship is believed to have lasted for about a year, and it is speculated that she may have some involvement in his death.
Raja, from a poor family, entered student politics in Chhatarpur and became close to Kujur during her time with the Vidyarthi Parishad. As authorities continue their search, the role of Aashi Raja in the case remains unclear.

Meanwhile, Chhatarpur bid a sorrowful farewell to Inspector Arvind Kujur, who was given a guard of honor at the Police Line. Kujur, who had served with distinction in the region, was remembered for his bravery and contributions to law enforcement.
He was posthumously honored by police and public dignitaries alike. Kujur’s wife, Anjana, and family were present during the emotional tribute. He was cremated in Sagar after the ceremony. Kujur, a recipient of the Rustam Award, had also been involved in several high-profile cases during his career.
