Minister’s son

Partnership between the son of a minister of the state, a broker, and a man working in a company is in discussion these days. They have purchased land in several places near the state capital, and are planning to set up a hotel in the state’s business capital. The most important story of this collaboration is that the trio have made money from one government department and are planning to invest it. As the minister’s son is out of the limelight, his deeds have also remained beyond the public eye. But now, the stories about his partnership with the broker are coming out. The reports about the money they have made from various projects and its investment have reached the central agencies which may act against the trio anytime.

Bad days ahead

A member of the state cabinet may be in trouble any day.  The central agencies have prepared a report against the minister in a case and sent it to the higher-ups in the government. In the report, the minister’s role in the scam is evident. Information about the places, where the minister has invested money in the past few years, set up factories, and purchased properties, has been gathered. On the basis of the evidence, the central agencies may register a case against him. Once it is done, his removal from the ministry is certain. There are reports that the minister has some hints about what is going to happen, so he is trying to please his master in the Central Government and the head of the state. But there are little chances that they will be able to save the minister.

Hum Nahi Sudhrenge

A minister in the state cabinet has failed to keep away from blathering. He had to lose his chair several times only for prattling, but he is unable to keep his tongue shut. At a recently-held event, the minister appealed to the parents to write a letter of gratitude to the Chief Minister for getting the benefits of government’s welfare schemes. The minister told the children to request their parents to write to the head of the state expressing their thankfulness to him. He said he would count the number of letters. His statement set off cackles among the audience, but many children seemed to have disliked what the minister was saying. On some occasions the minister has issued statements that sparked disputes. About the minister, it is said that he has set his eyes on a department, and wants to get it by flattering the CM. Most of the senior politicians are acquainted with his habits. For this reason, he had to struggle to get a cabinet berth this time. 

Cong man in saffron

Several leaders of the BJP look unhappy for failing to get their work done. They told the government that their pleas over various issues fell on deaf ears. In contrast, a Congress leader appears more powerful than his BJP counterparts. This much-discussed former legislator, close to many BJP leaders in the state, runs businesses in collaboration with many of them. He has clout in the government, so he can get anything done. The leaders of the ruling dispensation help him for everything he wants to get done through them. What is more: they even solved his personal problems. His influence in the government has left many BJP leaders unhappy. There are reports that an MP of the ruling party is complaining against this Congress leader at many places, but his efforts have fallen through so far. There are reports that the state BJP may admit him into the party to avoid any controversy.   

Powerful Baba

Only a few days ago, few could imagine that a Baba in the state could sway the politicians so much that the Prime Minister and the President would agree to take part in an event organised by him in a gap of just 72 hours.  So, their participation in the event has become a talk of the state. Keeping in mind Baba’s influence among top leaders of the country, the politicians who were keeping away from Baba also bowed down before him. A leader played an important role in getting the Prime Minister’s consent to attend the function. A meeting between the PM and the Baba took place at the leader’s residence.  A blueprint of the event was drawn afterwards. A leader of the state is happy that the PM is visiting his area in a gap of just one month. But the trip of the two VVIPS has sent the district administration and the government into a tizzy. They fear an error might spark trouble for them.

Politician’s clout

A powerful politician wants the forest department to issue the notification decorating the Madhav National Park with the tiger reserve status on such a date as coincides with the birth anniversary or death anniversary of his father.  Because the politician calls the shots in Delhi, the Forest Department finds itself in a tight spot.  The Central Government decorated the Madhav National Park with the status of a tiger reserve a few months back. The state government has yet to issue a notification for it. The politician’s clout in the area he comes from is well known, and he wants all big events to take place there according to his wishes.
