Madhya Pradesh May 30 Weather Update: Multiple Active Cyclonic Systems Unleash Pre-Monsoon Phase, Alert Issued For 36 Districts | FP Photo
Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The state is experiencing a pre-monsoon phase with spells of thunderstorms, windstorms, and dramatic weather shifts. On Friday, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert in 36 districts including Bhopal, Gwalior-Jabalpur.
The windspeed is predicted to range around 60 km per hour in 6 districts including Narsinghpur. Earlier on Thursday, strong storm and rain continued in more than 10 districts.
According to a senior weatherman, a turf is passing over Madhya Pradesh right now. Simultaneously, two cyclonic circulations are also active, due to which, the weather pattern is experiencing dramatic shifts.
Alert in these districts today
IMD has issued an alert for rainfall accomanied by strong storm in several districts including, Narsinghpur, Chhindwara, Pandhurna, Seoni, Mandla and Balaghat. The speed of the storm can range around 60 km per hour or more.
There is also an alert for strong thunderstorm and rain in Bhopal, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Rajgarh, Shajapur, Dewas, Harda, Betul, Narmadapuram, Raisen, Vidisha, Ashoknagar, Shivpuri, Morena, Bhind, Datia, Niwari, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, Sagar, Damoh, Panna, Satna, Rewa, Mauganj, Sidhi, Singrauli, Shahdol, Anuppur, Dindori, Umaria, Katni and Maihar.
Effect of four systems
According to the Meteorological Department, currently there is a low pressure area over West Bengal and adjoining Bangladesh. Apart from this, cyclones are formed in the upper part of the air over western Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.
A trough is extending from south-eastern Rajasthan to West Bengal. Due to which, there is moisture in the atmosphere and there is a possibility of overcast condition and light rain at several places.
