Madhya Pradesh Cabinet Approves 7 Key Policies On Tourism, Textile, Gas & More To Boost Jobs & Investment
The names of the policies passed in the cabinet are: Industrial Conservation Policy, Textile Policy, Film Tourism Policy, Tourism Policy, Pump Storage Policy, City Gas Distribution Policy, Logistic Policy and Export Policy.

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): With the aim of providing job opportunities to more than 20 lakh youths and giving an extra push to the state economy, the state cabinet approved seven major policies on Tuesday. These seven policies incorporate ten policies within them.
These seven policies back the Make in Madhya Pradesh concept and are likely to attract investments worth crores of rupees. All policies have been designed in such a manner that investors shall receive all necessary permissions through a single window. The state government has also adopted the FDI concept.
The names of the policies passed in the cabinet are: Industrial Conservation Policy, Textile Policy, Film Tourism Policy, Tourism Policy, Pump Storage Policy, City Gas Distribution Policy, Logistic Policy and Export Policy.

Film Tourism Policy
Under this policy, the government will provide subsidies for the shooting of films, serials, short films, documentaries, etc. The policy comes with a condition that a minimum of 75 days of shooting in the state is mandatory. Filmmakers will also be required to mention the names of the cities.
If a film focuses on themes like women’s empowerment or youth, the government may consider increasing the subsidy
Tourism Policy
Under this policy, private investors will be encouraged. Government assistance will be provided to investors if they construct convention centres or wellness centres. If tour operators travel abroad, they will receive government support.
City Gas Distribution Policy
To control the pollution caused by cooking with wood and cow dung cakes, the government has introduced the City Gas Distribution Policy. It will be implemented across the state. It will also be mandatory for builders to allocate space for gas pipeline installation during construction.
Industrial Conservation Policy
Aiming to boost industrialisation in the state, the government has introduced the Industrial Conservation Policy. It seeks to increase manufacturing.
