Narsinghpur (Madhya Pradesh): A heart-wrenching incident came to light on Friday evening, when 3 students of Class 12 drowned at a waterfall in Narsinghpur district of Madhya Pradesh.
The bodies of Tanmay Sharma, Akshat Soni (both 17) and Ashwin Jat (18) were fished out from the Bildha waterfall, located around 45 km from the district headquarters. All, studying in Chawra Vidyapeeth.
According to locals, the tragedy came to light when the villagers saw the bodies of two teenagers floating in the waterfall and discovered clothes and school bags lying nearby. They immediately alarmed the police.
On the other hand, the families of the missing students approached the police after the teenagers failed to return home from school. Police rushed to the spot and launched a rescue operation which lasted till Friday midnight.

Suatala police station house officer (SHO) B L Tyagi said, "The trio had gone to the waterfall instead of returning home from their school. Their bodies were handed over to the family members after post-mortem."
"The rescue operation ended a little after Friday midnight," he further added. The police registered a case and are investigating further.
