Kidnapped From Agra, 4-Year-Old Aryan Rescued In Gwalior After 250 CCTV Scans; Accused Couple Reveals They Wanted Son

Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): The 4-year-child, abducted from Agra Cantt Railway station four days ago, has been recovered from Gwalior on Tuesday. The police scanned atleast 250 CCTV cameras to trace the child and the kidnapper.
The accused couple has also been arrested. They revealed that they abducted the child as they wanted to have a son.
When the CCTV cameras of the railway station were scanned, the kidnapper was seen with the child. On getting the clue, the Agra GRP and RPF team reached Gwalior. They started searching for Aryan along with Gwalior police.
On Monday, the Padav police recovered the child from Laxmanpura. After this, Aryan, his kidnapper Komal Singh Kushwaha and his wife Rani were taken by Agra GRP. Komal told the police that 14 years have passed since their marriage. They have 3 daughters and wife Rani wanted a boy. Even after a lot of treatment, when a son was not born, he kidnapped Aryan.
The incident happened on Saturday afternoon around 1:30 pm. Aryan and his family lives on the footpath, Aryan was playing on platform number 6 of Agra Cantt station, meanwhile, his mother Sonu Devi went to take a bath. When she returned, Aryan was missing. She informed GRP and RPF about this.
In the CCTV footage received by Agra GRP, it was seen that a young man wearing a green colour shirt and black pants was taking Aryan away by holding his hand. He had tied a black colour dupatta around his neck. He was seen going on the railway over bridge with the child.
Gwalior police along with teams from Agra scanned the CCTV cameras of the station. In these, the kidnapper with Aryan was seen going towards the loco shed from platform number four of Gwalior railway station.
After this, when the police checked the CCTV cameras of other places in the city, the kidnapper was seen taking the child to Tansen Road. Police showed the pictures of the kidnapper and the child to the people. People in Laxmanpura area recognized him.
Padav police station in-charge Alok Parihar said that after scanning about 250 cameras, accused Komal Singh Kushwaha was caught from Laxmanpura in Gwalior.
The child was found playing at his house. Komal told the police that he had gone to Agra on Saturday for some work. Here, after seeing the child playing alone at the station, he brought him along. Since the case was from Agra, Agra DRP has taken Komal and Rani with them.
