Jhansi–Pune Weekly Special Train Extended Till Jan 2026; Stops At Bina, Vidisha, Rani Kamalapati & More

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Railways has decided to extend the operation of train number 01922/01921 Veerangana Laxmibai Jhansi–Pune–Veerangana Laxmibai Jhansi Superfast Weekly Special Train in view of the increasing demand from passengers.

This move aims to provide better travel convenience to long-distance commuters.

The extension of this special train will also benefit passengers boarding from important stations including Bina, Vidisha, Rani Kamalapati, Narmadapuram, and Itarsi, which fall under the West Central Railway zone.

Train number 01922 Veerangana Laxmibai Jhansi–Pune Weekly Special Train will now run every Wednesday from Veerangana Laxmibai Jhansi station, completing a total of 27 trips during the extended period from July 2 to December 31, 2025.

Similarly, train number 01921 Pune–Veerangana Laxmibai Jhansi Weekly Special Train will be operated every Thursday from Pune station, also completing 27 trips from July 3 to January 1, 2026. This extension is expected to ease travel during the busy months and festive season, ensuring availability of confirmed tickets for more travelers.

This train halts at key stations including Lalitpur, Bina, Vidisha, Rani Kamalapati, Narmadapuram, Itarsi, Khandwa, Bhusaval, Manmad, Kopargaon, Ahmednagar, and Daund Chord Line in both directions, catering to passengers from various regions along its route.
