IRCTC Clarifies: No Change In Booking Timings For Tatkal & Premium Tatkal Tickets
Recently, some viral posts on social media created confusion and concern among passengers by claiming that Tatkal ticket booking rules were changing from April 15.

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has officially clarified that there are no changes in the booking timings for AC or non-AC coaches for Tatkal or Premium Tatkal tickets.
Recently, some viral posts on social media created confusion and concern among passengers by claiming that Tatkal ticket booking rules were changing from April 15.
These viral messages claimed that new timings and systems would be introduced for Tatkal bookings. As a result, many passengers were left worried and confused.
The misleading posts went viral on social media spreading false information.
Taking action on the matter, IRCTC took to its official X handle and confirmed that there are no changes in the booking timings for AC or non-AC classes. It also advised the passengers not to believe in such rumors.

Summer Special Trains
In another update, Indian Railways has announced the launch of a special summer train between Udhna and Danapur to manage the increased passenger rush.
Train 09053 (Udhna to Danapur) will depart from Udhna at 6:45 am on April 14, reaching Itarsi at 6:30 pm the same day. It will arrive at Danapur at 12:45 pm on April 15, stopping at various stations along the way.
Train 09054 (Danapur to Udhna) will depart from Danapur at 4:10 pm on April 15, reach Itarsi at 12:20 pm on April 16, and finally arrive at Udhna by 10:30 pm on the same day.
Passengers traveling during the summer season can make use of this special service, which includes a halt at Itarsi station.
