Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): India-Bhutan Mystic Mountain Tour via Bharat Gaurav Deluxe AC Tourist Train is starting from June 28 this year. This special journey will start from Safdarjung Railway Station in Delhi and will take the passengers to the serene and picturesque places of Bhutan, covering the spiritual, natural and cultural heritage of Northeast India.
The first stop of this journey will be Guwahati, where the passengers will visit the ancient and sacred Kamakhya temple located in the Nilachal Hills. This temple is one of the major Shaktipeeths of India and is a center of reverence for the goddess worshippers. From Guwahati onwards the journey will proceed towards Shillong, which is called the 'Scotland of the East'.
Train to cross through these destinations
Here the passengers will enjoy the natural beauty and cultural diversity. This will be followed by a one-day trip to Cherrapunji, where famous natural sites like the Seven Sisters Falls, Nohkalikai Falls and Elephant Falls will enchant the travellers. The group will then return to Shillong.
After landing at Hasimara Railway Station in West Bengal, the travellers will enter Bhutan by road, where they will reach Thimphu to Phuentsholing. After reaching Thimpu, the travellers will get an opportunity to explore the surroundings and connect with the local culture, and overnight accommodation will be provided there.

In Thimpu, a tour of local important places will be organised, including Motithang Zoo, National Library, traditional painting school, handicraft market and the magnificent Choe Dzong. The trip will then proceed towards Punakha through the historic Dochu La pass, passing through the snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas. In Punakha, travellers will visit the famous Punakha Dzong, which is located at the confluence of Pho Chu (male river) and Mo Chu (female river) and is considered to be one of the most beautiful and largest dzongs in Bhutan.
The last leg of the Bhutan trip will be held in Paro, which is famous for its terraced rice fields, traditional farmhouses and deeply spiritual atmosphere. During the trip to Paro, travellers will get to see Lamprey Royal Botanical Park, Tamchog Lhakhang Iron Bridge, included in the UNESCO Tentative List of Bhutan, the world-famous Tiger's Nest Monastery (Taktsang Lhakhang) and the National Museum of Bhutan, which provides a glimpse of the rich cultural heritage of this Himalayan nation.

The travellers will be given an experience of Bhutan's national sport archery, as well as a relaxation facility in the traditional hot stone bath. After this, the group will return to India and reach Delhi the next day.
