Homecoming! Cheetah Jwala Tranquilized And Safely Returned To MP’s Kuno National Park From Ranthambore Sanctuary | File Photo
Sheopur (Madhya Pradesh): Kuno National Park’s female cheetah, Jwala, who had earlier strayed into Rajasthan’s Sawai Madhopur district near Ranthambore Sanctuary, was successfully rescued and brought back to Kuno on Tuesday after being tranquilised.

According to reports, the female cheetah of Kuno unexpected strayed in Rajasthan’s Sawai Madhopur district near Ranthambore Sanctuary. Her entry into the village had raised serious concerns, as the park is home to several tigers.
Acting promptly, Kuno's officials tracked the cheetah's location from her radio collar, and dispatched a rescue team to bring her back to Kuno. The rescue team sedated Jwala and transported her safely back to Kuno by vehicle.

A day earlier the cheetah was spotted in Manpur and Kashipur of Madhya Pradesh and further, late in the evening her location was tracked down in Rameshwar Triveni Sangam area.
According to officials, Jwala crossed Seep river and reached the banks of Bagdiyan Chambal after hunting cattles in Fatehpur village.
On Tuesday early morning, Jwala hunted two goats in Karira village of Baharwanda Kalan police station area of Rajasthan. After the incident, she remained near the goat enclosure.
