Damoh Cop Beats Up Man, Abuses His Wife & Children For Spitting On Him While Driving
The woman was pleading with folded hands and the children were crying.

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A drunk ASI was caught harassing and assaulting a family in Madhya Pradesh's Damoh. He allegedly thrashed the man and hurled abuses at his and wife and four children.
The incident took place near the hospital square in Damoh at 10:30 pm, when a young man and his family were travelling from Jabalpur to Tikamgarh. While driving, the man spit from the car and a few drops of the spit mistakenly fell on the cop.
Angry, the ASI chased the car and stopped it at the hospital square, thrashed the driver. The woman, from inside the car, plead the cop to stop beating her husband, but he started hurling abuses at her and the children.
Locals helped the family
Seeing such behavior of the police, people present there raised slogans of 'Damoh police murdabad'.
People around protested and helped the family. When slogans were raised against the police, Kotwali TI Manish Kumar reached the spot and controlled the situation.
SP Shrut Kirti Somvanshi has line-attached the ASI. The ASI was not medically examined, due to which drinking alcohol could not be confirmed. The victim's family left the place without filing a complaint out of fear.
Further investigation is underway.
