CBSE does not release a merit list or declare any toppers. Schools and institutions are also instructed not to label any student as the school or district topper.
While the results are available online, these are only temporary copies. Students will have to collect their original mark sheets from their respective schools, which will be required for further studies and official purposes.
As per the National Education Policy 2020, students are being given more chances to improve their performance. Students who fail in up to two subjects can appear for supplementary exams. Even those who want to improve their scores can take these exams.
The supplementary exams for Class 10 will be held in the first or second week of July 2025. These exams will follow the same syllabus as the main exam held earlier this year.
