BJP Ready To Welcome Ambedkar Family, Says, MP Chief Minister Mohan Yadav
Yadav made the statement at a press conference at the BJP office in Bhopal on Tuesday.

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has said that the Congress never respected Ambedkar, so they should tender an apology. Yadav made the statement at a press conference at the BJP office in Bhopal on Tuesday.
If the family members of Ambedkar want, the BJP will help them move ahead, Yadav said. The BJP is a combination of all people, and when the family of Baba Saheb launched an outfit, they allied with the BJP, Yadav said. The Congress government gave Bharat Ratna to Jawahar Lal Nehru, Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi, but not to Ambedkar. Because Nehru’s relationship with Sadar Patel and Maulana Azad was not good, they were also not honoured with Bharat Ratna.
They were given Bharat Ratna when Narsimha Rao became the Prime Minister. Former chief minister Sunderlal Patwa constructed the memorial of Ambedkar in Mhow, Yadav said. Congress leaders never visit Mhow on Ambedkar’s death anniversary, but it is Prime Minister Narendra Modi who turned every place associated with Ambedkar into Panch Teerth. Rahul Gandhi should maintain the dignity of the position of the Leader of Opposition, Yadav said.
The way Rahul is behaving is against the dignity of the position he is holding, he said, adding that the Congress is pointing the finger at the BJP, forgetting that those who live in glass house should throw stones.
Congress takes out ‘Ambedkar Samman March’ across state
Congress leaders took out ‘Ambedkar Samman March’ to demand resignation of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, accusing him of disrespecting Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar here on Tuesday.
Party leaders have also taken out the march at the district headquarters in the protest. In Bhopal, party workers and leaders led by former Chief Minister Digvijaya Singh and state president Jitu Patwari took out the March from Lily Talkies Square to Jinsi. The protesters raised slogans against BJP and accused Shah of insulting Dr Ambedkar during the debate on the Constitution in Rajya Sabha last week.
The protesters held placards carrying pictures of Dr Ambedkar and raised slogans demanding Shah's resignation. Patwari accused Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and BJP leaders of opposing the ideology of Dr Ambedkar and the Constitution. He said the BJP leaders expressed their thoughts against Ambedkar several times, which shows they are anti-Dalit.
