Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A fire broke out at a closed interior design office in Mansarovar Complex, in the capital city of Bhopal. The incident occurred in the early hours of Thursday at the complex situated on Hoshangabad Road in the city. Smoke was seen rising from the shop, prompting nearby shopkeepers to rush in.
Officials stated that the fire alarm went off, alerting shopkeepers, who immediately acted to control the flames. Fire brigade teams also arrived at the scene. Their quick response prevented a major disaster. The incident caused panic in the area, as the complex had witnessed similar fire incidents in the past.

In another incident, a massive fire engulfed eight furniture shops in Karond’s Nabi Bagh area late Wednesday night. The fire started around 2 AM and quickly spread to multiple shops, reducing furniture worth lakhs of rupees to ashes. Out of 17 shops in the area, only half could be saved.
Police sources said the shops were located under tin sheds along the roadside. Fire tenders from nearby areas were rushed to the scene. After three hours of effort, the fire was finally brought under control. Officials noted that if the fire had spread further, it could have caused an even bigger disaster, as a wheat field was located right behind the shops.
