Bhopal: Eid-ul-Azha on Sunday, Shahar Qazi appeals to maintain sanctity of the festival of sacrifice

District administration and Bhopal Municipal Corporation has made adequate arrangements for Eid-ul-Azha that will be celebrated on the July 10. The Bhopal administration has issued a guideline as well, said collector Bhopal.
Bhopal Shahar Qazi, Syed Mushtaq Ali Nadwi has appealed that Muslims should maintain sanctity of the festival and conduct sacrifice in a manner that cleanliness is maintained in the city.
Sacrifice can be done at 42 places in the state capital on Eid. Collector Avinash Lavania has given conditional permission to build temporary slaughter houses in the city. Permission for sacrifice has been given from July 10 to 12 in these temporary slaughter houses. The slaughter houses have been built by the Municipal Corporation.
Officials of the district administration said that sharing any photo on social media while sacrificing is strictly prohibited. Action will be taken if such pictures appear on online platforms. Sacrifice will not be allowed after 4 pm.
Committees of local Muslim citizens have been formed to monitor the places of sacrifice, which will remain in touch with the police and administration. The corporation is also forming separate teams for cleaning and monitoring in these areas.
These teams will collect and dispose the waste that comes out after the sacrifice, said Bhopal Municipal Corporation commissioner KVS Chaudhary Kolsani.
