Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Ashoka Garden police have taken the custody remand of prime accused Farhan Khan and his aide Sahil for further questioning in a rape and blackmailing case.
Other accused -- Ali and Nabeel --arrested on Thursday, are already in custody remand of police. Moreover, the custody remand of Farhan taken by Bag Sewania policeended on Friday.
The police will now interrogate the accused face-to-face during the custody remand to establish the facts revealed during investigation. They will also verify locations where the girls were allegedly raped by the accused.
Nabeel, who is accused of providing his rented room to Farhan and other accused, will be taken for identification of the spot. It is claimed that Farhan used this room for several assaults on victims.
Nabeel and Abrar were room partners and friends with Farhan and other suspects. Ashoka Garden police station's TI, Hemant Srivastava, said that two days of custody remand for Farhan and Sahil have been taken for questioning in two separate cases registered against them.
Moreover, police had taken Farhan to Indore to identify the rented room where he allegedly raped one of the victims. Investigations have revealed that Farhan and Ali gang-raped one of the victims, filming the incident on their mobile phones.
This incident occurred around a year ago when the victim was lured under false pretences and assaulted after resisting.
