Bhopal Collector Inspects Upsc Prelims Exam Centres; Officials Deployed To Maintain Order And Efficiency |
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Bhopal district collector Kaushlendra Vikram Singh conducted inspection at UPSC civil services preliminary examination centres on Sunday to ensure smooth conduct.
In all, 15,941 candidates had filled the form. The candidates took the examination at 50 centres in the city. Though the reporting time was 9 am, the candidates began arriving at 8 am.
During inspection, the collector reviewed arrangements related to security, electricity, drinking water, and other essential facilities. The SDMs and other officials were deployed to maintain order and efficiency at all centres.
Strict guidelines were enforced at the venues, with banned items like bags, mobile phones, smart watches, neck chains, mangalsutra and shawls not allowed inside. Police and administrative staff were stationed at the gates to collect and manage restricted items.

200 bicycle to promote fitness, sustainability
SAI Central Regional Centre (CRC), Bhopal, organised ‘Fit India Sunday on Cycle’ in collaboration with the Media Federation of India to promote fitness and sustainability through ‘Pedal of Change’.
It was part of the initiative of the Prime Minister, ‘Fitness Ki Dose, Half an Hour Roz’ . The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, the Sports Authority of India (SAI), and various stakeholders are leading the ‘Sunday on Cycle’ campaign across the country.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 200 cyclists including members of the Media Federation, PIB Bhopal, press representatives, media personnel, local community volunteers, and youth. Cyclists rode along a designated route across the city, promoting fitness, eco-friendly practices, and collective community action.
The event was simultaneously held at six locations across Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh by SAI CRC Bhopal and its affiliated STCs, engaging around 500 cyclists, fitness enthusiasts, and media personnel.
