Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The brutal murder of four members of a Brahmin family in Timri village of Jabalpur rocked the assembly on Monday. It was Congress MLA Lakhan Ghangoriya who raised the issue through Call Attention Motion. He demanded that now the victim family is left with two educated daughter-in-laws.
Hence government jobs shall be provided to them. On the intervention of Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya assured that the CM will be apprised of the feelings of the House.
Earlier, while giving reply to the house, Minister of State for Home Department, Narendra Shivaji Patel said that the accused involved in the barbaric act are behind bars and all necessary sections including the section seeking capital punishment has been imposed against them.
‘Name Rewa as Samdariya Metropolitan city’
Congress MLA and former Leader of Opposition (LoP) Ajay Singh said that name of Rewa city shall be changed to Samdariya Metropolitan city as only one person is calling the shots in the area.
He made this statement while participating in the discussion done on the question raised by Abhay Mishra during question hour.
Mishra wanted to know that why the tender of a party, which offered Rs 1511.11 crore for 8.91, 500 feet land in Satna city was cancelled and given to Samdariya builder which offered a mere Rs 121.93 crore.
He demanded that a probe committee be formed to investigate irregularities done under re-densification scheme which cost financial loss of Rs 3k crore to the state government.
Urban Administration Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya said that all works of re-densification are done with great transparency and hence there is no irregularity.
Pointing to the financial loss allegation of Mishra, he said that work has not been given and indeed it has been cancelled. Hence, there is no question of financial loss to the government.
