Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Aishbagh police on late Sunday night rescued two missing children within three hours of their disappearance during an engagement ceremony in Bagh Farhat Afza. Both of them were counselled by Child Welfare Committee on Monday.
Intense searches were conducted before filing complaint
According to police officials, the incident was reported when a complainant informed police that on Sunday her 6-year-old nephew and 4-year-old niece went missing from her uncle Sabir Ali’s residence at about 5 pm. Despite intense searches by family members, the children could not be located, prompting the filing of a complaint at Aishbagh police station.
A special team led by Aishbagh police station incharge Vijay Bahadur Singh Sengar conducted an extensive search. The team reviewed CCTV data from over a dozen cameras, spoke with city police stations via wireless, and dispatched teams to surrounding locations.
With the help of technology children were traced
Due to prompt police action and use of technology, the children were traced walking together towards Bagh Umrav Dulha gate from Bagh Farhat Afza. Both the minors were safely rescued near Anand Nagar police station within three hours.
