Shivpuri (Madhya Pradesh): Continuous heavy rainfall since Monday night has caused severe waterlogging across urban and rural areas of Madhya Pradesh's Shivpuri district.
The most alarming incident occurred at CM Rise School in Badarwas (Kolaras Assembly), where floodwaters entered the premises and classrooms, trapping 20 children from classes 1 to 5.

Seeing the serious situation, the school teachers, guards and family members who came to pick up the children together somehow got the children out safely. All the children were rescued safely without any injury, averting a major accident.
Children rescued with ropes and resources
On getting information about the incident, the villagers reached the spot and with the help of ropes and other resources, took out all the children safely. Rivers and streams are overflowing causing severe problems for common people.
Eyewitnesses claimed the school bus linked to District Panchayat President Neha Yadav’s institution was driven recklessly on a flooded causeway, risking the lives of the students.
