MG Windsor Hits 20,000 Unit Sales in Just 6 Months – Sets New EV Benchmark

MG Motor India has hit a new high with its electric SUV, the Windsor, which has become the fastest EV in the country to clock 20,000 unit sales within just six months of launch. The Windsor’s steady sales performance across both major cities and smaller markets reflects its broad appeal among Indian buyers. With this success, the Windsor continues to make a strong mark in the EV segment, reinforcing MG’s leadership in the growing electric mobility space.

MG Windsor EV comes equipped with a 38kWh battery, offering a driving range of up to 331 km on a single charge—well-suited for daily urban travel. Under the hood, it houses a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor that generates 134 bhp and 200 Nm of torque, delivering a smooth yet capable driving experience. The front-wheel-drive layout strikes a good balance between performance and efficiency. Additionally, the Windsor offers four driving modes—Eco+, Eco, Normal, and Sport—allowing drivers to adapt their ride based on traffic and road conditions, further strengthening its appeal in the competitive EV market.

MG Windsor EV offers a premium in-cabin experience, blending comfort, connectivity, and safety. It features a large 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system paired with an 8.8-inch digital driver display, both supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for easy smartphone integration. Passengers can enjoy added comfort with a four-way powered front passenger seat and reclining rear Aero-Lounge seats that tilt back up to 135 degrees. The sound system includes nine Infinity speakers for immersive audio, while a panoramic sunroof, customizable ambient lighting, and a 360-degree camera enhance the overall experience. On the safety front, the Windsor comes equipped with six airbags, electronic stability control, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and rear AC vents, creating a secure and relaxed environment for all occupants.
