EKA Mobility Partners with KPIT to Boost EV Powertrain Innovation

EKA Mobility has joined hands with KPIT Technologies to advance electric powertrain technology in India’s commercial EV sector. Under a newly signed MoU, the two companies will collaborate to develop and integrate innovative solutions aimed at improving efficiency, performance, and sustainability. EKA Mobility, known for its focus on sustainable transportation, will leverage KPIT’s expertise in mobility technology to enhance electric commercial vehicles. This partnership is expected to set new industry standards, contributing to the growth of clean and smart mobility solutions in the country.
Under the MoU, EKA Mobility and KPIT Technologies will work together to develop advanced electric powertrain systems, including traction motors, controllers, vehicle control units, and battery management systems. These technologies will be designed specifically for EKA’s range of electric buses and commercial vehicles, aiming to improve efficiency and performance. With KPIT’s extensive experience in mobility solutions and its expertise in indigenous electric powertrain technologies, the partnership is expected to enhance energy efficiency, lower ownership costs, and provide a better driving experience for customers.
