BYD SEALION 7 Pure Performance eSUV Priced from Rs 48.9 Lakh in India

BYD India has officially announced the pricing of its highly anticipated BYD SEALION 7 Pure Performance eSUV, starting at Rs 48.9 lakh. The new fully electric SUV was unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 on January 18, where it also began accepting customer bookings. The BYD SEALION 7 has already received an impressive response, with over 1000 bookings secured within just a month of its launch, thanks to its attractive promotional booking policy.

The BYD SEALION 7 is available in two variants, both equipped with an 82.56 kWh battery for impressive performance. The BYD SEALION 7 Premium is priced at Rs 48.9 lakh, while the higher-spec BYD SEALION 7 Performance variant comes at Rs 54.9 lakh. Both variants offer cutting-edge features and electric efficiency, catering to different preferences in the fully electric SUV segment.

The BYD SEALION 7 offers impressive performance across its variants. The Performance trim can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds, while the Premium trim takes 6.7 seconds. The Performance variant delivers 390 kW of power and 690 Nm of torque, with a range of 542 km on a full charge. On the other hand, the Premium trim produces 230 kW of power and 380 Nm of torque, offering a slightly longer range of 567 km. The BYD SEALION 7’s design ensures ample interior space, with a length of 4,830 mm and a wheelbase of 2,930 mm, making it a solid choice for those seeking a spacious and powerful electric SUV.

The BYD SEALION 7, designed by Wolfgang Egger, the brand's Global Design Director, boasts a sleek, aerodynamic profile with its signature ‘OCEAN X’ front styling. Inside, it offers a luxurious cabin with a 15.6-inch rotating touchscreen, quilted Nappa leather seats, and customizable 128-colour ambient lighting. BYD India is offering a complimentary 7kW charger with free installation at a location of the customer's choice for those purchasing the SEALION 7. Additionally, the SUV comes with six years of roadside assistance and a free first inspection service. Customers will also enjoy a 6-year/150,000 km warranty on the vehicle's Low Voltage Battery, ensuring long-term peace of mind with their purchase.
