9th JK Tyre-Constitution Club of India Car Rally Flagged Off in New Delhi
Launched in 2010, the CCI Car Rally has grown into an important event focused on spreading awareness about road safety.
The 9th edition of the JK Tyre-Constitution Club of India Car Rally for Parliamentarians was officially flagged off in New Delhi. Held at the Constitution Club of India, the event saw the presence of Kiren Rijiju, Minister of Parliamentary Affairs and Minister of Minority Affairs, as the Chief Guest. Also present was Anshuman Singhania, Managing Director of JK Tyre & Industries, along with several other notable guests. The rally continues to be a key event promoting road safety and social responsibility among lawmakers and the public.
Launched in 2010, the CCI Car Rally has grown into an important event focused on spreading awareness about road safety. This year’s rally witnessed the participation of over 50 parliamentarians, including Anurag Thakur, Nishikant Dubey, and Rajiv Pratap Rudy, alongside senior officials, journalists, and members of the armed forces. Driving their own vehicles, the participants came together to highlight the importance of responsible driving and to honour fellow lawmakers who lost their lives in road accidents. The event continues to serve as a joint effort by policymakers to promote safer roads across the country.

The rally carried a strong message of “Road Safety,” serving as a reminder of the lives lost in road accidents, including several respected parliamentarians. On this occasion, participants paid tribute to leaders such as former President Giani Zail Singh, former Union Ministers Rajesh Pilot, Sahib Singh Verma, Yerrannaidu, and Gopinath Munde, along with MPs S.P. Muthukumaran, Shrikant Jichkar, Mahendra Singh Bhati, Dayanand Sahay, Nandamuri Harikrishna, and S. Rajendran. Their memories reinforced the rally’s call for greater awareness and commitment to safer driving practices across the country.
Speaking at the event, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju highlighted the growing concern over road accidents in the country. He stressed the importance of initiatives like the CCI Car Rally in spreading awareness about road safety. According to him, such events play a key role in encouraging responsible driving not only among public representatives but also across the wider population, ultimately contributing to safer roads nationwide.
Anshuman Singhania, Managing Director of JK Tyre & Industries, emphasized the importance of road safety and responsible driving during the event. He stated that the JK Tyre-CCI Car Rally reflects a long-standing commitment to creating safer roads. Highlighting the rapid growth of India’s road infrastructure, he noted the urgent need to strengthen awareness around road discipline. He added that JK Tyre has been actively working on this cause for more than 30 years through both safety campaigns and innovations in tyre technology, aiming to reduce accidents and promote responsible driving habits across the country.
